4. Email Marketing – This is by far the most effective because it gives you long term effects. Build your list by adding an opt in form on your website or blog and promote your site in various pages. Then you will continually grow a list of targeted prospects to promote to.

The key is to write many articles and link them back to your list building opt in page. Optimize your articles with keywords so that search engines pick them up and index them. Make it a point to write 1 to 2 articles a day and before you know it, you will begin to see consistent traffic coming to your business opportunity website.

Forum Posting

This can be another great way to get people to check out your real work at home business if done correctly. Simply register for a free membership at any work at home forum and include a link to your landing page in the signature line. Now, go around the forum and participate. Do not mention your business opportunity at all except for the threads that are for advertising. You simply need to just chat with the other members, add useful content to the forum, answer questions, ask questions, etc. The more involved you are, the more your signature line will show and people will begin clicking through to your landing page and join your email list.

These are three of the most effective ways to automate your real work at home business. The harder you work today to get your links out there, the more passive it becomes a little later down the road.

Good Call!

Advertising is a cutthroat world and it can be difficult to come up with an ad that will appeal to an audience and hasn’t already been done before. I was entertained by the Fosters Good Call ads I’ve been seeing lately. Foster’s, for those of you who don’t know, is a brand of Australian beer. The ad campaign takes full advantage of that wonderful Australian accent to draw in the audience, while the commercials themselves are so entertaining that you can’t help but laugh, regardless of your opinion on Foster’s or even beer in general.

The campaign also takes advantage of knowing the audience by choosing topics that the audience will understand and with which the audience can relate. Two of the three commercials I’ve seen have involved girlfriends, while the third was a scene set in a bar. Consumers of Foster’s are likely to mostly be guys who have either been in a situation similar to the one being portrayed or can at least sympathize with that situation, and that’s what makes these commercials so entertaining for beer consumers.

In one commercial, Brad and Dan, two surfer dudes who take calls in a small beach shack while playing it up with the ladies, take a call from “Ben-O!”about his girlfriend. Ben wants to know if he really needs to worry about his girlfriend looking like her mother when she gets older. Brad and Dan basically tell Ben not to worry about it and to take each moment as it comes. The buddies then pull out cans of Foster’s beer and return to enjoying their afternoon on the beach. These two cool dudes have all the answers when it comes to tattooing your girlfriend’s name on you – instead of tattooing “Trudy”across your body, try the nickname Peanut instead so that if things go downhill you’ll just have a tattoo proclaiming your love for peanuts – and they know just how to deal with “space-invaders,”telling the caller that he should shout at the invader as though he’s miles away. The campaign uses a common appeal – drink this beer and you’ll be as cool as Brad and Dan. Whether or not this is actually true the ads are an entertaining mix of familiar situations and humorous moments.

Toddlers
What if you have toddlers in your home? Toddlers are more hands on and need/want Mommy’s full attention. Toddlers do not like to be put on the backburner at anytime in their ’baby life’. Having said this, if you want to keep your toddler’s happy, think about looking for a friend to watch them as you work on your home business during the morning times. This is a good idea to think about especially if you have one toddler. If you know a friend who has an in home day care, then your toddler will now have someone their age to play with. It is not always necessary to place your toddler in a structured daycare. Plus, the cost alone will set you way back.

Being a stay at home mom who works at home can be fun and profitable. But, it depends on how you will schedule your working hours around your young children. For many moms, they can put their infants or toddlers in a home daycare for three to four hours every day or every other day. The best thing about working from home is you get to see your young children more and you no longer have to answer to a manager or boss. You are now your own boss.
