Telephone Recruiting – Build Your Business By Phone

Telephone Recruiting - Build Your Business By Phone

Recruiting people into your business through the telephone has been the way of business building for many years. There are many business owners out there that will tell you that you can build a business without ever having to pick up the phone. This statement is highly doubtful. Even if you recruited someone into your business with an online advertisement or some other method, you will still have to eventually pick up that phone and start building a relationship with them. With that being said, what does it take to build a successful business using the telephone?

When first starting out, you might have a little fear inside or you may even have a total anxiety meltdown. You have to understand, that the people on the other end of the phone cannot see you and have no idea who you are (in most cases). A good way to get over this fear and get onto dialing those phone numbers is by turning it into a numbers game. You will get the rejections and everyone does, but if you think of it as a numbers game, it softens the blow. The more numbers you dial, the more relationships you will build and therefore the more conversions you will get.

Do not take your calls personally. If a prospect tells you no or hangs up, so what. They are not rejecting you personally, just your opportunity. Move on to the next call. They just weren’t ready for your business. There will be others who will be ready. You have to say next and keep dialing.

Make sure to have a script in front of you even if you are rehearsed and do not need it. Having a script allows you to stay in control of the call. If a customer cuts you off with a question, you can easily answer it and turn back to your script to start the conversation again. Having a script will enable you to sit back and listen to your prospect instead of thinking of what you are going to say next.

If you are going to purchase leads for calling, be sure to pick reputable companies. There are companies out there that are offering leads at cheap prices or even free, but these leads are outdated and usually have been called by an armful of other business owners. Stick with the companies that offer exclusive leads.

Last, generate your own leads which are much more open to listening to your business presentation. You can build your relationships through your online marketing such as social networking, forum posting, blogging or emailing and then call them only after you have made a connection that way.

Recruiting people into your business by telephone does not have to be tricky business. It can actually go rather smoothly if you simply be yourself, be honest and have a genuine conversation with your prospects.

On a personal note before I go; I have thrilling news, I was chatting to my cousin the other night and he has just got a lovely new position at an hr software company. Well done Luke

Easy Marketing Ideas For Your Business

Easy Marketing Ideas For Your Business

There are so many creative ways to get the word out on your business. Many turn to the Internet while others prefer to market to their local community. This article will focus on creative ways to promote your business in your local community.

Just about anything can have your business logo on it. One very effective technique is to brand your business logo on the back of a t-shirt. Then simply, wear it when you go out to do your errands. Obviously, if you have long hair, it won’t be quite as effective unless you wear it up. Go to high traffic places such as grocery stores and department stores where you will get the most visibility.

Other creative ways to promote your business is through water bottles, coffee mugs, key chains, pens, magnets and car wraps. Be sure to leave a pen laying around wherever you go for someone to pick up. When you go out driving, slap on your car advertising wrap and park in highly populated areas. In case you are not sure what a car wrap is, it is a type of advertisement that you can stick on your car (like a magnet or vinyl wrap). It contains your business name, phone number, website address or whatever information you want it to. It is a great way to get the word out on your business simply by driving around. Many large businesses use this marketing technique because it is extremely effective. Why not try it out for yourself.

There are so many different possibilities to leave your business information about there in your local community. Just use your imagination and always be in business mode. Everytime you drop a pen, business card or walk around with a t-shirt on, your business is being promoted and others will see it bringing you in many prospects.

Finally, it is time for my amazing link of the month. I have recently found upon this article called Enigin PLC, not only is this company great at what they do, but I am really respecting this article as well. Everyone must check them out!

Backpage vs Craigslist Marketing – When Craigslist Is No Longer An Option

Backpage vs Craigslist Marketing - When Craigslist Is No Longer An Option

No doubt if you have heard of Craigslist online classifieds, then you have surely heard of it’s cousin site Backpage. Maybe not as effective as Craigslist, you can still generate a good deal of leads and prospects for your business if done the correct way. In fact, because of the strict terms Craigslist has now laid out for marketers, many are already turning to Backpage because it is much simpler to use and almost just as effective.

The one key to Backpage that you did not have to experience with Craigslist is that you will have to post more ads to generate the same results. For instance, to get the same results as you would posting just one ad on Craigslist, you would have to post around 20 ads on Backpage. Do not let this discourage you, because it only takes about 5 minutes to post 20 ads. When posting your ads, be sure not to post the same ad over and over. Change it up a bit and also do not post the same ad in the same city on the same day. Backpage frowns on this.

Get your ads noticed and rise above the competition by creating “call to action” headlines and ad copy. Get your ads to stand out. You want to create desire, interest or curiosity. Only then will people skip past the competitors and click on your ads.

Spice your ads up with images. People tend to click on ads that have images before they click on ads with just plain text. This is an excellent way to make your ad stand out from the crowd. Also, sometimes it pays to pay. Backpage has some affordable advertising packages that will keep your ad listed and on top of others resulting in more visibility. However, you can get just as effective results with their free service simply by posting more ads.

The key to Backpage marketing is that you need to be consistent and keep posting those ads. Make them as compelling and enticing as you can and you should start to receive a flood of traffic to your sites or email inbox in no time. Why bother with all the Craigslist nonsense when you can get results with a much easier system – Backpage marketing.

And now for an update on work for you all to critique, I have finally finished the changes for the Botox London webpage. I am rather confused how I feel about this one, any criticisms are welcome
